SupSuper Posted April 26, 2004 Report Share Posted April 26, 2004 looking at many other X-Com forums (ok, so there aren't that many ), i truly think that we need a custom skin to make it stand out in the middle of the crowd i have made IPB skins previously and thus have some experience with it (i just hate editing IPB's CSS, since it's got lots of stuff. truly lots. it's evil!), so i think i'm gonna try to make a skin that will make this forum look cleaner... better... more xcom-ish so... if anyone has any suggestions for images, color schemes and such, feel free to add them. i'll probably set up a forum on my lycos account to test the skin as i make it. i've got the IPB GDK 1.3 so i can easy change the color scheme of the images, font, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As far as the skin goes, if you want to go to the trouble of creating the entire thing yourself and testing it on your own test forum, I might, MIGHT import it to these forums and give people the option of switching to it in their control panels. Just keep the green light on the yellow, and you shouldn't have problems with lime-looking green. You should be able to just take the CSS from the forums here and adjust the color settings for each component, if you aren't doing that already. But I'm not sure what it'll look like as a whole... And it seems to have f*cked up some images a bit (more so than with the green one).
