Is The Collection Edition V2.0 Of Tftd?

i had the original TFTD and u needed to update it to v2 so the tech tree would be ok, is the collection edition already v2??

 

i thought it wasnt so i looked for the patch and instead just got a italian or french patch and that was from the microprose ftp :freak:

Logic would suggest that since XCOM and TFTD later came out as CE a few years later that you don't need the patches. Although I know with the original TFTD for DOS you could have gotten the DOS version on a CD at the time that was the original DOS version with the movies.
