The abductees are subject to examinations performed by Greys, it is most likely that the Aliens seek weaknesses to exploit in this war, fortunately for us, their efforts seem to have been in vain, as their weaponry is not especially designed to fight Humans, we have found no evidence that the Aliens possess neither biological or chemical weapons, thus we can only conclude that either the Aliens have been unsuccessful in their search for exploitable biological weaknesses, or that if they possess such weapons, they have not yet employed them for undetermined reasons; the latter is considered highly unlikely. All efforts have been in vain but one, our troopers have witnessed the terrifying results of almost fifty years of research into the Human body, the living terror weapon known to us as the Spawn. These insidious creatures’ powerful neurotoxin is especially designed to attack Human cells and as a result, these are one of the most dangerous foes our operatives have faced.

The most horrifying aspect of Alien abductions are not the examinations, it is the tampering of the Human body for research purposes. Inside [Abductor’s name] craft, we have found Human body parts inside tanks filled with green fluids of composition unknown. Our theory is that these body parts are either used for food, or for replacements of determined organic parts of Alien equipment; as we have observed some partially organic devices inside Alien craft, these, however, are not widely employed by the invaders and certainly do not conform part of their arsenal.

Abducted Women have been impregnated with Alien foetuses and once given birth, the foetuses were retrieved by the Aliens to never be seen again. We have managed to obtain samples of these foetuses. Apparently, the starspawn were attempting to create a Human-Grey hybrid, with little success, as all foetuses recovered were dead and for no little reason, their genetic composition was all but stable, the creatures were most likely to have died shortly after being born.

Don't take this in offense, please--but unless Xenocide has a working concept in this field, I have to say that the idea of human females being impregnated by aliens doesn't set well with me. Sounds a bit too...I dunno...hokey perhaps? The idea behind the abductions should be rupulsive and evil--last thing we want to do is make the player laugh about it, eh? :wink:

 

Also, directly mentioning an alien race in direct context of actual gameplay--such as citing the Grays--is probably not too good. There's always the possbility that the player might not even FIGHT the Grays (slight, I know ) at the point he/she researches this matter, that we have to take into account to ensure the game retains that good ol' X-Com-ish "flow." Mentioning the "large-headed gray people" is fine--just so long as we can reword the "the very type of alien we've encountered on the battlefield" part in some way. Perhaps "it's now apparent that these once erroneous claims (of abduction) have something behind them after all, in light of X-Corp's latest endeavors to research extraterrestrial behavior towards the general population of Earth" would be a bit more purposefully ambiguous? Okay--just be sure to word it a bit better than what I just typed, of course.

 

I'm liking the "using the human body for research purposes" thing--now that sounds like pure "evil" (you have to have SOMETHING to hate 'em for, right?). Elaborating into the fact that subjects are kept alive just to test reactions of living tissue would go a long way into revealing the true terror behind these acts (after all, experimenting on different subjects isn't a new topic, unfortunately--why not have us humans have our roles switched? *shudder*) . Just so long as the explanation doesn't go into "morbid" territory, it should be fine...just so long as, again, another race isn't mentioned. Seems the Spawn are used as a terror device for the Vipers, and the Grays seem to be the most interested in this type of behavior--explaining how human subjects are kept alive and conscious, yet subdued, by "certain chemicals" could later point towards the Spawn, just so long as it doesn't go out-and-out, know what I mean?

 

Perhaps there could be some way to explain how the Grays use their perverse knowledge of genetics to experiment with human reproductive systems, rather than saying that they impregnate females with alien fetuses, eh? No restraints of any sort have been found, this leaves open to discussion how do the Aliens do to keep their Human victims immobile to operate.

 

As stated in numerous reports, abducted women have been impregnated with Alien foetuses and once given birth, the foetuses were retrieved by the Aliens to never be seen again. We have managed to obtain samples of these foetuses, found on jars inside the Alien ships. It appears that the star spawn are attempting to create some form of Alien-Human hybrid, with little success so far. Any foetuses that our researchers have been able to recover were dead and for due reason: their genetic composition was highly unstable; the creatures were most likely to have died shortly after being born. To what purpose the extraterrestrials are attempting to create these hybrids we are not sure of, but judging from our experience with them, it's probably not in Mankind's best interest to wait and find out. We are, unfortunately, still unsure whether the Aliens have had any success at creating these abominations or not, as we do not and can not have complete knowledge of the Aliens’, both past and present, activities regarding Human research and manipulation.
