CopyBass
Well, if you just clicked onto Online Multiplayer, it should have lxnt.info as the automatic site, all you need is a username and a password
Kratos
If you have a firewall, it may be conflicting with connecting to the server... The user name and password you don't need to register anywhere. Just type it in on the game's server connection area and it is registered on the server automatically. Your password needs to be at least 6 char long, otherwise there will be a message that will pop up on you saying "password too short" Make sure you remember your password though...the server remembers your password so nobody can use your user name at the same time you are on so you "can" log on without being told that "someone already has that name on the server" BTW: on the original xcom, did you finish at difficulty five WITH the XcomUtil? anto80
BTW: on the original xcom, did you finish at difficulty five WITH the XcomUtil?I don't know what you are talking about ! Having said that, i remember that after having finished the game 1 or 2 times in mode 5 "normally", i started to look in save files and object files to make a little retro engineering. in fact i altered for example the strength and throwing accuring of some of my men; this way the first part of my team could only search tha aliens , and the other part 's job was to throw grenades(even if it was 3 screens far!) or launch blaster to destinations with a 200% accuracy. i've done this too with TFTD. lot of fun... it's a pity that the game itself wasn't featuring this (that is to say : finishing the game in mode 5 could unlock some extra weapons or objects or situations or maps or even scenarios why not....) we ofter see this in race games.... finishing the game unlock stages or cars... [edit]it works now, i'm connecting to the server[edit2] huh this doesn't work anymore now!!! in fact i lost connection with server, and now when i reconnect it is telling me that i'm already logged on !!!! how could i solve this ? CopyBass
Just wait a while, and your account will be logged off. then you can log back in
Kratos
No, Copybass...You imediately close the game program then go back in it. Your account logs off when you exit your game program (which should be fixed to exit you out when you log off, it kicks your username off imediately without having to exit the game program). Now, if you can't get on trying what I mentioned...you can click on connect server, then it will give you a message that "someone has already logged on as this user name" then click ok. Then click connect to server again. Then change the user name to something else, like a number or letter or something after your name, and it will log you on, but your previous user name will be stuck there. I never had to do this step because it always logged me out if I exited the game then went back in it. Now, on XcomUtil...it fixes the bug thing with the AI being stupid on all levels. You said you beaten the game on the original game, but you actually just beat a stupid AI on beginner level still. On your hacking skill...nice job, we should get you to help the UFO2000 developers. They program under c++ and alegro. I reccomend you go to this thread and follow all the steps Serge gives you to get all the tools for making this great game. Serge is the leader of the UFO2000 project. Edited June 10, 2005 by Kratos
