I was wondering about Upgrading your craft or HWP. Just a small Idea I was thinking about. For example what about upgrading your engines on your craft so It can fly faster or Travel farther.
Or maybe upgrading your Hwp to have a better version of the weapon or perhaps better armor. Im just curious as to how in depth we should go with our work. If People can get upgrades, why Cant machines?

I more or less much wanted to expand on the idea for Hwp Modules (as stated earlier) and Maybe Craft Modules. It would be nice to see A fast tank with light weapons and the same model tank with some nice big guns and heavy armor

Ties nicely with my thread about SE4 influenced battles and so forth - but there are downsides, the dreaded retrofitting left right and centre. That said, in XCOM you don't tend to have more than 10 or so craft and maybe 30-40 HWP at end game (although never been there
) so retrofitting (if at all possible, mind!) should not be anywhere near as hard to do.

Exactly, retrofitting a few HWP should be a piece of ckae, especially since they all basuically share two frames...
I've never had more than 5 or 6 HWPs, so I'd never mind customising them more
How about strapping some armoring alien alloys on the beginning's HWPs??
