I found the pirate base very early in the game and the pirates dont really do anything, I dont even intercept them anymore because they die when they attack freighters with escorts but it starts to get on my nerves that the game always wants to destroy the pirate fighters so I wanted to blast the base, I tried it a few times but I can never find it when I am in the mission... It is marked but i cant find it or shoot at it!

If you want to reload, just use the autosave file. Personally, though, I think using cheats is legal in situations like these. For the list, click here. Use the in-flight cheats, but don't forget to type in "battlecheats"
