Pallidar
Hi fellas. Hope you guys can help me out here: Is there a way to interchange graphics for the weapons in TFTD to UFO? I'm looking to interchange the basic human weapons with the Gauss weapons. Not the effects or anything, just the pictures.

j'ordos
I doubt that will give a good effect as tftd uses it's own palette, different from the xcom1 one.. Edited August 31, 2003 by j'ordos
Pallidar
Thanks Micah. Just so you know, that link to PCKView on the modding page seems to be dead. Managed to get PCKView anyway. Google works wonders
Pallidar
Anyone knows where I can get a WORKING version of PCKView? Every single copy I download seems to be unable to run on WinBlows. its either: Runtime Error 200 at 034c:0091 Or The Application failed to Initialize properly (0xc0000135) GAH. j'ordos
You need the Microsoft .NET framework in order for the program to work... The program Micah gave is a different one from the program mentioned in that tutorial btw, this one isn't a commandline thing, don't know if you're still able to get that old one from somewhere... [[Micah]]
Aaaahhhh... THAT'S why I installed .net a few weeks ago! I woke up a few days ago, fired up my comp, and it asked what login I wanted to login with. I was like: what the heck? I don't have mutiple logins!! Then I remembered I had installed .net, and maybe it had done it, but then I couldn't remember why I had installed .net....
