I have an XCOMA folder but not an APOC folder. I am thinking the instructions on the thread you set me up with mean I should start at step 3 since I already have the game installed. what is VDMSOUND? Palladin
OK I jsut started from scratch. I reinstalled the game from the CD and it will not run . At this point I have not done anything to try and make it run.I have a win XP system. Any help here would be greatly apreciated. It wont even run when I use the windows dos prompt. It did give me an error when I installed it about buffers and fills. I am clueless and have no idea how to make Xcom Apocolypse work.
Palladin
http://www.xcomufo.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=714 I went to the link there and used the methods suggested for the CD version of the game and it is working almost perfect. I still don't have any sound and the mouse is very slugish but the game is running.
