Bildo Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 (edited) I've used the standard patching process listed on this site found at (http://www.xcomufo.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t841.html) However, the game is still crashing on me when i'm in the map sending my hovercars to attack aliens. I'm running XP, and I haven't experienced any other crashes with the game. Anyone else have this problem? Edit: Turns out, it crashes in tactical too... I'm guessing its a problem with the sound card, so I'm gonna try and use one of the related fixes. Edit: Damnable computer won't even let me run the setup file. Won't run with dosbox or vdms, either. My recommendation is to find another copy of the game, and if that does not work, try and find a computer that will run win 98 or earlier.
