I mean, THREE(?!) Large radars PLUS a small one! Not the most effective design in the world I would think :P

And what's that I seeing? (grid 5:2). A missile defence?! (could be wrong, bad pic :P)

Embarrasing? That's an understatement. I'm surprised someone of that ineptitude actually managed to progress far enough into the game to build an avenger, and yes, horror of horrors, that IS a missile defense array.

LOL, yeah, uhh, i only saw one fusion ball and one plasma, why even have them there if they wont be able to kill it? even with grav sheild 2 fusions and 2 plasmas i dont think kills a battleship

When the debate or the rediculous layout of this base has come to an end, please remember the following facts:

I don't destroy anything till I have to - the base was in transition to a good defense.

I like to kill the aliens with my bare hands when they come a'knockin.

What the he** did I care how hard it would be to defend? Twenty well'placed blaster bombs would do the trick :P

I never bothered with any defence systems on the base. I alway went straight to base defece. They come in throough the hangers. So put the hangars in a separate bit to the rest of the base accessibl;e only by the access shaft. what does this do? Lets you put a trooper in either side hidden in the first base facility after the access lift armed with motion scanners. Sit there and pass go until you know (by scanner, that there is an alien in the access sheaft. blaster/plasma. pref:plas. keep this up until they are gone. you never really see them and so they ever really psi- you.

I never got into psi it took too long. I completed in 215 missions. takes ages to build up psi in troupers.

nwn looks like its a conceiled dungeon game, like diablo 2 . there fun for a while, but can get boring i currently play the mmorpg ragnarok online, god damnit those koreans have a lot of issues to work out in the international game... CMON LAZY PEOPLE WORK

It is very 'cool' as you put it. I miss being able to play it. I had a really fast computer and connection and it rocked. Now I have a fast connection, still, but no computer that can run NWN. :crying: :cussing:

really? hmmm i dont know a practical use for a shotgun, i thought about it earlier and yeah, its good for killing multiple aliens at once, but there is rarely a situation like that. and they would have to put a range limitation on it. but, it would be an awesome base defence weapon or used to raid alien ships. but if just one of those pellets hits an alien they will look up at you and laugh and say, whats this? a be-be gun? is it going to be buck shot or the spread ones ( i think i may be saying the same thing twice)

I wonder what that second base's layout looks like? I dont suppose there's a shot of that one too is there?

I never think about base defending when I build a base. I allways make enough fusion defenses and grav shields to ensure that I won't get attacked or just have 3-4 tanks and 10 men with heavy plasmas and Blaster Launchers waiting for aliens. I don't know how I "should" build my base to make it easy to defend but I have almost allways managed to defend them. So why waste time to build it in some sort of order if you can easily defend it anyway? Those bastard aliens are allways at hangars and access lift.. They are rarely found from anywhere else.

Post some pics of base wich is "well built to be easy to defend" and show me what is this bull*hit?

Assuming that Micah won the game, . I think that he is a a genius. Any body who can bulid a base like this and win has to be good.
