fidel_
Screenshots sure look good, I wonder how that basescape actually works. Interesting approach with the soldiers too. Mmh, miniguns... Reminds me of fallout. Though I wonder why the feed comes from the top. Must be quite high caliber too looking at the size of the belt. fux0r666
I think those are renders, though, not actual screenshots. It's concept art.
red knight
Anyone that knows russian that can tell us in short what it sais... concept art is pretty cool, and the model be it ingame or renders look good too. GreetingsRed Knight
centurion
After a first glance: UFO remake: checked. Not oriented strictly towards a finished computer game, tabletop games are mentioned as "very probable" and the concepts are more of a game world, however, lots of stuff is described as a part of a computer game (and commercialisation is strongly hinted). Takes inspiration from UFO (duh), Fallout (tactical combat rules), Dungeon Siege (tactical combat graphics engine), films: Alien, Judge Dredd, Resident Evil, Virus, Matrix, Mad Max, Screamers (never seen any of them, don't blame me if the titles are wrong). Strategical, tactical, baseview, free changing between them (eg. leave the tactical view to send reinforcements); mission chains, random generation of landscapes and whatever, loads of items (count in 100's the weapons), but not all would appear in the same game, with appropriate influences on the research tree. Multiple sides as in Apocalypse (not mentioned by name however). Plays in the whole of the solar system. All seems to be in the concept stages (the interface screens are said to be more or less defined however ), and IMO having 1 programmer, 1 modeller and 6 text people is not the right proportion for a game (but adequate for the "one CD full of text" thing that's advertised). The screenshot part does indeed contain only renders.

mamutas
That was really small letters to read on my monitor!!! Centurion is right: these are just concepts using some modeling tools with UI overlayed on top of the scene. It also seems that they are heavily commerciall oriented - meaning that they are definitely not going to give it away for free.Another interesting fact. They "hire" all different kind of artists, 3D modelers, designers and even photographers. However, as related to the game implementation they only need 'algorithm designers' which would define game logic. I was not able to find a word about game implementation in techincal terms: no name of the graphic engine, no platforms, no rendering technologies. Screenshots look good though. We should look at their progress periodically, especially since they are Russian based.
SupSuper
i must say, the "screenshots" (as they're called) look pretty promising. i personally like this one, entering a site with 3 soldiers and a HWP the soundtracks aren't too bad either
