A question has always puzzled us, that where do the Aliens come from? They did originate from Mars we would have gathered, but Mars is mearly an outpost.. Sent to watch us.. then proceed in it's horrific culling once our population had reached the eptimome of our reproduction.
6 Billion souls.. herded for so long.. but these minds began to fight back, in doing so, we had interrogated many species, and creatures twisted than the human brain could imagine.
Through doing so, we have established some of the aincient origins of the Aliens themselves.
Our galaxy contained an alien species, the late long ancestors of the Greys. These Greys were a peaceful race, who were eager to learn, and if we were there back 2 million years ago, we would have made the best of freinds. The Greys began to create technological wonders to overcome their weak physiology, and they were prosperous, developing ships, mining the local asteroids, and even colonising the nearest moon. Some Greys however, began to show a flare in psionics. They could talk to people through their minds, without the use of technological instruments, from one corner of the planet to the other. These Greys soon mastered the use of psychic talking, being able to litterally speak without moving their mouths.
However, one sect was opposed to this use of psychic power, and their name has been lost through time. They captured stolen military items, and created a hidden base on a nearby asteroid. The psychic power was a timebomb.. they knew, but no other part of society would listen to them.
Seeking more power to fuel the fire and to make them masters of the physical world through their minds, the Greys created a organic brain which would amplify the power of the Greys tenfold. When the organic brain was complete, it was completely subservient to the Greys, and amplifying their power so that they could achieve.. more. Complete psychic pleasure thought up in a nanosecond was there, networks of Greys could talk to each other, conveying thoughts and emotions within seconds, becoming the new language, some who were particulary gifted to mastermind these feats, could walk on air itself. However.. there was a backlash that ended the Grey's culture forever.
The negative emotions, fear, evil, hate, greed, all of the sins, and even nightmares were fed directly to the organic brain. The organic brain.. wanted more, it wanted dominance, it wanted to enslave, destroy, mutate.. all of these emotions fueled by billions of Greys fell right into this massive amplifier. Following the network of Greys, it became.. self aware. And as it did so, it controlled the entire Gray race, dooming them to enslavement to the "Overmind". The scream of billions as their free will as taken away from them began the signal of the renegade Grays.
The renegade Grays knew they were too late. And instantaneously, the former Gray sector fleet began to head to the renegade Gray's asteroid station.
They knew they were done for. However, the renegade Grays developed a new technology... never seen before, as the former Grays chose psionics, it was ultimatley the renegade Grays who had the upper hand. Bowing their heads down in the ultimate shame of their race, they launched a missle directly to their sun. The Overmind having calculated this, began to fear for itself. The Overmind, boarded the next former Gray flagship.
What happened now could have changed the course of X-Corp's history forever. The Grey Flagship, proceeded to go to warp as soon as they cleared the solar system. While this was taking place, the Overmind ordered that the missle be stopped at all costs before it reached the sun. The renegade Grays lept into action, with it's supreme phased cannon arrays taking out thousands of the ships, but the Overmind had more.. The renegade Gray's began the most saddest sacrifice to their race that noone could have comprehended. They were determined to defend the missle.
As the battle raged on, the Overmind had failed. The renegade Grays bowed in triumph as the missle crashed into the sun, forcing a supernova on a solar system scale. The Overmind, in his flagship, was starting the hyperjump systems which had taken the whole battle to start up. He began the hyperjump, but too late, as the massive shockwave blasted his ship, sending it lightyears across the galaxy.
Through hyperspace, the laws of physics crushed the ship in half, and it fell out of hyperspace completely. The Overmind's location was was unknown.
The Overmind is fueled by hatred and negative emotion. He knows how to build and replicate his old technology. He mearly replicates 2 million year old weaponry stored in his design, craving more domination. (Hes like the Borg. He sucks up information from other races, and adds it to his own. He cannot develop it. This is why the Humans have an adavantage to him.. we can learn.)
Now, where did this other half of the ship land?
The other half of the ship fell through our solar system and crashed into our blue planet killing the dominant species, the Dinosaurs. It is speculated that the Overmind found many other races, and submitted them in his hierarchy, while rebuilding and mutating them at the same time while looking for his other half of the ship, which supposedly contained something of superior value, until he found us. Mars was set up as the base of operations for his invasion.
