NightWarp Posted October 29, 2008 Report Share Posted October 29, 2008 heyas Using vista 32bit, bought the X-Com series off steam, but ive run into a bit of a problem, i cant run the X-com utils, it says to run RunXcomW but that just give me a crash :-/ Cmd.exe crash...says it cannot run in fullscreen mode? with a close/ignore choiceclose gives me a error 1007, cant find geoscape to load. Which means i cant use alot of the nice stuff in utils any ideas guys? (any infos im missing ill try to give you) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've put the xcomut96 folder in the xcom folder ( ...common-> xcom ufo defense -> xcom) I run the xcuSetup a black window pops for about a second and then disappears. I then edit the conf file to call runxcom.bat then I go to run it. the two dosbox windows open then close and I'm left looking at my desktop. I'm on vista32 the game works fine stock.
