ziocody
Let me start by saying my jaw dropped when I saw the screen shots of Xenocide. I'm all about keeping the gameplay close to the original because the sequels for X-Com never appealed to me. Xenocide looks great and I like the idea of a turn based multiplayer version. My idea is for the single-player option:Rather than try to expand the story, a good number of (easy to create) prequels could be designed. In Enemy Unknown, the aliens bring a wide variety of species to Earth to invade (snakemen, sectoids, mutons, etc.). With this in mind, one could say that each species represents another planet that was enslaved before Earth. By regressing the species being invaded one could create worlds that simulate the same struggles as Enemy Unknown/Xenocide but for [snakemen] instead. A planet could be created for that species and then you have a good number of games to play while keeping the original gameplay in tact. If this were to happen, what order would you put the species?(1st is the most recent to be enslaved)-Cody
mikker
I doubt any in here will play snakemen (or perhaps only to drop an alien granede at their feet?) But sounds cool though.
