Im interested in how you 'organize your assault/defence' Basically what you label your men/women as

14/15 of my men are all equipped with personal armor. my commander has a flying suit, doesnt seem to work tho :/ oh well
13/15 of my squad are equipped with laser rifles. The other 2 are equipped with heavy laser
11/15 of my squad are equipped with 1 proxy nade ... i <3 proxies
As for my squad stats
11/15 all have the same stats, the majors are 80 TU's 60 stamina and 80 accuracy
So to organize all that i got...
4 defence units <- no proxy nades, max reaction fire
2 heavy assault units <- heavy lasers
8 standard units <- laser rifle and 1 proxy
1 leader <- Me, inoperable flying suit

He wants to know your team setup in terms of weapons, armour and specialist profiles
Weapons = plasma rifles. Can't afford them for everyone, so some go without. Hate grenades. All grenades.
Armour=Power suits. Once again, can't afford it for all, so some go without.
Specialist profiles=Don't use them. The best defense is offense, so offend frequently!

Well, depends on how many points I have to spend. Almost always though I have my whole squad outfitted with plasma rifles, some alien grenades, and two to four with hvy. plasma (acting as snipers). As you can tell, I like playing a pure alien force 
But I always leave the sectoids at home.......

i like having some laser rifle, because they never deplete ammo, and are a bit less expensive in TU. Ok they are less powerful and less precise, but they cost nothing (250 vs 700 of a plasma rifle with 2 cartdriges)

I like laser rifle too, I use to play with 4-5 laser rifleman, one or two of them cover the rocket launcher, the others are the scout/assault team.
Rocket launcher always stay in the back lines.
All soldiers have a couple of alien mine.
I was heavy plasma addicted, but it's really difficult to kill more than one enemy per turn ad than hide, they miss autoshot.
Heavy laser sucks!
