Geoscape Globe Texture

I was taking a look at the world texture for the geoscape and noticed there are several areas where the original water was not replaced with the dark blue...

Yeah... its a pretty minor issue...

but Here is a version I touched up a little... you guys may want to make one professionally though.

 

Also, I've noticed you've changed the world picture before, do you have any plans to change it again? And why did you change it before, I think the old one looked pretty good, if maybe a little bright.

 

There also has been a problem mentioned with the map getting blurry, and it cant be fixed since the picture is too big already. My suggestion is maybe to load the picture into RAM, but only the currently viewable portion in VRAM? Maybe keeping a small area that you cant see in VRAM for quick small movements or something?

:unsure: Sorry... I havent reached my Advanced Data Structures and Memory Management classes yet...
