Problem With Geoscape

I've tried using the bug/problem report form but it won't accept this so I thought I may as well post here.

When i start a new game I have no Geoscape, when I use the buttons to turn it the background moves around as if I'm in a spaceship type game (you know like Elite).

My system specs are as follows:-

Windows XP SP2
P4 2.66GHz
512MB RAM
Gigabyte Maya Radeon 9000 pro

Try using DirectX instead. The background moves, cause if the planet is in place, the backgounds move when you move it arround as if the movement is done by the camera.

I had some weird problem too with geoscape... i used directX but the scape was very buggy, some parts of it black and some parts of earth was around the space... i tried openGL, it worked nicely but i had a great LAG... Btw Good work u doing, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! :P I hope u still keep the menus, ideas and stuff as UFO 1 and UFO 2 were, or is that possible?

I guess so.
As far as I understood it, the original "look" and "feel" of the project
has to be "reached".
