Inventory Enhancement?

I am proposing an possible enhancment for the inventory during the Battlescape phase of the remake. I think you should add 1/2 of the belt inventory icons under the left and right hand boxes that are used for usable items.

This would enable people to quickly releod weapons and the like without going into the inventory screen. I also propose that the items in the belt area can be used without having to use the hand boxes.(throwing grenades and the like.)

Hmmm, interesting idea. I suppose there could be a reload button, that would automatically look for the ammo that your curretn guns needs and use it. As for the greanades, i suppose a quick throw button of some sort could be implemented.

Its more of a creature comfort though, so i would imagine it would get fairly low priority.

That or a separate reload function on weabons, aside the usual shoot and trow commands(was there a drop? :huh: )...

Yes, but chaning items from hand to belt or somewhere else took some TUs, there should be a penalty of TUs addition to the trowing to balance the feature correctly, otherwize you could abuse the feature...

The primary items that go on the belt is probably ammo and grenades. It probably can't be abused very badly, besides the grenades. However, we could use a TUs to use the items, like everything else.(when one considers the extra items that can be used in one turn)
