7Saturn
Hi. I've downloaded the latest UFO2000-Installer. And now I have the same problem like with every new version. First of all, the old replays don't work any more. And additionally, the old squadfiles have the problem, that every soldier who's carrying a plasma-weapon has lost his ammo-clip. So I need to reload every soldier manually, which is quite uncomfortable. Is the clip-problem a bug, or has the file format for squadfiles changed? And the replay-problem: Is it possible, to make a easy-to-use-konverter for the replays? I don't want to throw them all away, just because I can't view them any more. Sinofdamnation
Just download older version where the replays work (They actually work?) As for the clip bug, I think you could have fully armed about dozen of teams before someone would answer to your post with an solution on side note: I have never had problem with any clips disappearing from any characters... 7Saturn
Just download older version where the replays work (They actually work?) It was just an idea. But do you actually know, which version every of your replays have? I don't knwo for mine. The newer I know, but not the older ones. And yes, I tested the replays, and at the moment (0.7.1071) it works. As for the clip bug, I think you could have fully armed about dozen of teams before someone would answer to your post with an solution on side note: I have never had problem with any clips disappearing from any characters... That's true, but I wanted to know, if something happend to my squadfiles, or has ufo2k changed the format of them? 7Saturn
OK, I figured out, what's the difference. If you look into the squad-files, the old clips are called something with "HANDGUN BATTERY" or something els with "BATTERY" in it. It's necessary to replace the text "BATTERY" with "CELL". Then the old squadfiles do work with the new version.
