Abductors are cool, they got this bunch of 3-4 medics right after the entrance... Of course, using motion scanners/stun bombs is a must in there... :D
Some games I never see any harvester, others, I see plenty of them... Seems pretty random to me...

Abductors and Harvesters are almost never encountered by X-COM compared to the other ship types.

In my experience, the two ships you see most often are Supply Ships and Large Scouts.

Harvester was my second most frequent ship in my first game, and I saw no one abductor.
Now in superhuman I saw two harvesters and one abductor, being the most frequent two terror ships and cross scouts.

That's the Large scout ^_^

Besides, all teh other ships have a fixed role, so you're bound to see scouts of all kinds, terror ships, and supply ships for obvious reasons, and battleships WILL pop up once in a while... Harvesters and Abductors are jsut more randomised...

The Abductor ship is probably my favorite ship to assault, there's lots of hiding places the way those corners are set up. It can be a little too easy to get the leader quick though by shooting the ceiling in the second chamber and flying up or tossing up nades.
