Tech Tree Proposal

This is my proposal for a research tree for xenocide. It's almost identical to the research tree from UFO Defense, but with enough changes to A) make it ours, and B) allow for a number of changes that have been discussed (primarily the "plasma weaponry" entry) while C) not affecting gameplay too much.

 

Here is a flowchart of the tree, broken down into major categories. I can be a bit confusing, especially with the cross-over links, so clicking on any topic (the blue boxes) will take you to more detailed listing of the tree.

 

Major changes:

  • Addition of Plasma Weaponry, and minor reworking of the relationships of Plasma Technology.
     
  • Alien Containment now requires research.
     
  • Major relationship changes to the Psi Research section.
     
  • Minor tweak to Hyperwave Decoder prerequisites
     
  • Some Unofficial names

Please look it over, and let me know what you think.

ps: Is there any way to get the URL link to accept an anchor address (blah.html#this spot)?

 

edit: I see the problem....it doesn't like the space in the anchor reference. Oh well.

I can't find an up to date official list citing what's been written and so on, whats the low down in regards to the research?

You should check the stickies, and read the PM you were sent when you became a recruit.
