I'm wondering, did anybody ever do a mod to do something like give some of the civilians pistols in terror missions? Maybe make one civilian sprite a police officer that is shooting back?
They wouldn't last long, even against floaters or sectoids with just a pistol and no armor, but it would be an interesting change.
