Guest darkscythe
It's there any chance that xenocide might work with rivatnt2 with 32mb,because the alpha 3 log report says that an unknown error has appeared. When I start the program,a ms-dos box appears and then nothig happens, not even a process when ctrl-alt-delete-ing.Can you give me an advice?I mean it is very weird, since i ran the latest games on my computer and nothing bad happened. [[Micah]]
No, there is no chance that it will work because its chipset does not contain all of the needed opengl extensions for the game. The geforce2 mx400 32mb is THE minimum requirement, and the tnt2 is about 3 models below that. A sufficient geforce4 card costs around $40 now, and when xenocide is finished, you should be able to get a card capable of running the game for much cheaper than that... Cpl. Facehugger
What are the estimated processer and ram requirements for the finished game? Can I just have a ball park estimate? Will I have to upgrade my 1.3ghz athlon?
Guest Jim69
There's no way of telling. At the mo 1.3ghz should be OK, u will at least need a Geforce 2 or higher. I'd imagine that the req's wouldn't be much higher than Warcraft 3, possibly needing a bit more RAM and maybe a better graphics card altho low end PC's are being thought of in the design AFAIK. Cpl. Facehugger
Well, I have a brand-new geforce fx, so I think I am ok in the graphics department. I am planing to upgrade my ram to 512mb so that shouldn't be a problem either. Thanks.
