ATeX
Hi everyone, It has been ages (years) since I've been here. How are you guys doing? Does anyone know where the SVN or public FTP is? Has it been deleted? If anyone still has the music tracks, can you send them or put them online please? Cheers,ATeX
[[Micah]]
Hi Atex, good to hear from you The SVN and website contents can be found here:http://www.xcomufo.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=242035331&do=findComment&comment=191771 If you feel it's missing something, let me know what and I'll dig a little harder for it. ATeX
Hey Micah, Likewise, nice to hear from you :-) Apparently I do not have access to that part anymore, being an inactive member of the project. Is there any other way to access it?
SupSuper
Hey ATeX, long time no see! I collected various project music back in the day, which might have what you want: https://openxcom.org/download/extras/Xenocide.zip If that's not enough, here's all the links in the thread micah linked if you wanna dig around the remains of Project Xenocide:https://github.com/astyanax/Project-Xenocidehttp://xcomufo.com/xenocide/svn.zip (1gb)http://xcomufo.com/xenocide/projectxenocide.com.zip (2gb) Edited September 16, 2018 by SupSuper
[dipstick]
Hey all Party time? I am afraid I have no clue about assets and so forth, so am glad someone in the know has responded. Awesome to see a few people from the past though.

[dipstick]
PX keeled over a long while back from what I remember. It regrettably passed me by, as I was mostly living in a lab during that period.
SupSuper
Any interest in doing so? ;-) There doesn't seem to be a point anymore. X-Com is back, turn-based is cool again. If you want a modern take, there's XCOM. If you want an old take, there's OpenXcom (wink wink nudge nudge). And there's various indie takes like Xenonauts, Phoenix Point, etc. If you wanna do a new soundtrack for OpenXcom, that'd be cool. gu35s
I know this is dead and I miss it. I know there are a lot of similar games, but what I miss most is the creativity and community that it provided. I only joined near the end so I don't know most of you, but thanks for the fun times. ATeX
@SupSuper: I'd love to do so actually. Still have the piano and the orchestral libraries. Soundcard is an old firewire400, will need to buy an adapter. @gu35s: Likewise, it's the community, you guys, that made it an amazing experience I'm glad to see you alive and kicking! SupSuper
Sometimes you just gotta move on to the next amazing experience. I mostly hang out on Discord these days, if you wanna chat, dipstick set this up: https://discord.gg/fWayc3B Besides this I haven't seen much of the old PX crew. Sometimes they show up in StrategyCore or OpenXcom. red knight seems to have made a name for himself: https://twitter.com/federicolois Edited September 20, 2018 by SupSuper
kafros
Greetings to all friends of old If you need anything updated in the github repository kindly nudge me there and I'll update it. PX was a great opportunity to practice a wide spectrum of skills, and especially community management. Also that being agile and focusing on quick deliverables is worth it in the end, keeps momentum. For the gameplay nostalgia, SupSuper with OpenXCom has done more than a marvelous work . I missed the opportunity to dive in early there code-wise If you want to catch up anytime, feel free: https://twitter.com/basanas .
