Judge_Deadd
It's so annoying when you must wait for a wounded soldier and buy a rookie. Also, if wounded soildier wore armor, you'll probably forget to give it to the new rookie. Let there be a facility named Hospital, which would speed up healing their wounds. Cubik
Apoc had this, seems like a resonable thing to add.
GreatGold
A good idea...now go put it in the right thread so that everybody that needs to see it does... Gold
Guest blaa
This along with many other ideas have been suggested in the My-Xcom thread. The previous version of the idea was harsher though, no healing at all unless hospitalized.
Judge_Deadd
A good idea...now go put it in the right thread so that everybody that needs to see it does...Which thread? My Xcom? So why are these all topics scattered in The Laboratory itself? Edited November 24, 2004 by Judge_Deadd
Breunor
The hospital/medical facility is in the version list, which is here. This doc is not a set-in-stone list, but rather gives an idea of ideas that seem workable for future versions. The list is fluid, so items may move around some. I'll be posting the list up in the forums shortly. It's not supposed to be a complete wishlist, so there's been a lot of ideas not included. One of these days I'll work my way through the My-XCom thread and see what else to add.
GreatGold
Sorry sorry, I was harsh . I do apologize, just a bad few days...my comp crashed and I've been slowly rebuilding it. No harm meant Plus, thats the treatment I got from Breuner, so I felt like passing it along . Haha, once my comp is revived all will be well... Breunor
Hey! Referring to my rude treatment of you and others has nothing to do with the medical facility! That's off topic GreatGold! Go complain about me somewhere else! (I DO say this in jest ) The mdical facility is a nice idea, you could upgrade it to increase speed of healing, without one you heal really slow, etc.
GreatGold
HAHAHAHAHHAHA - Ok ok, your so called rude statement only helped me to get my bearings, so it was more helpful than not (not to mention it was ages ago...back in my squaddie days...). But it does bring up a good point, which is that there are so many good ideas that we really should start some official organization of them. Perhaps an online database of somesort, our own X-Net so to speak. I saw some version of that recently, anyone know what happened to it? Breunor
The version list has some of those ideas listed there, but not all of them. It's more of a 'we'll consider these after v1' list, but that doesn't mean it's the only things to be considered. The list is growing, so I'll probably break it into sections, at least battlescape/geoscape. It's more for broader ideas than really specific ones, as there are thousands of really specific things... if anybody has an idea that's been discussed out here, let me know (please include a link or where I can find the thread), and I'll summarize it on the version/feature list. It's linked a few posts earlier in this thread.
