So, I decided to start 'er up again, and it seems that I'm having video issues. All of the video is in a little horizontal band about 3/4 of the way up the screen. All the sound is there, and I could even play, if the screen wasn't all glitched. I applied a combo patch and some patches from X-Com extender that I found in another thread here, but they don't help either. Same with compatibility settings. Any help here?

Sorry, I've fixed the issue now. I didn't know about Blade's patch. There were some color issues, but they're fixed by closing Windows Explorer, as with most such issues under Windows 7. Now I just have speed issues, which I'm going to look for a solution for on here.

Edit: Looks like there's a patch for the Geoscape, but it doesn't help interception. It goes by so fast that the UFO just runs away before the interceptor can be set to close in. I also had issues with the battlescape being too fast, but couldn't get into it after applying the Geoscape patch. Is there a program to slow this down?

Turns out I applied UFOLoader wrong, and downloaded the wrong file, but now I'm running into a worse issue. I can run UFOLoader, and it goes into the intro, but after that, it crashes and gives me an error message. That is: 'XCOM crashed at 0x100040FA with error 0xC0000005 trying to access 0x100040FA'. Running it with the regular exe gets the issues above still and doesn't use any of the modifications. This error happens regardless of any modifications being loaded.
