Talon81
Yes, every difficulty has its own specific map.from Roger Wong's guide: Your initial starting funds are determined by the difficulty level you choose at the beginning of the game. (sorry if my rows and columns dont come out, Im lazy and its late)Difficulty Weekly Level Funds Income Novice 140000 92000 Beginner 130000 89000 Medium 120000 86000 Hard 110000 83000 Superhuman 100000 80000 The harder the difficulty: the higher an organization is infiltrated when aliens are left in a building the more money it takes to bribe organizations the less frequently alerts are generated the tougher enemy units become in combat "Some statistics are modified by the difficulty level. Armor levels increase 16 percent per difficulty level, psionic stats increase two percent per level, and the other stats increase four percent per level. On superhuman difficulty, for instance, a Skeletoid will have 23 points of armor instead of just 14. Score and bravery do not change. Armor absorbs damage that would otherwise be inflicted upon an alien. The armor values are the same for all alien body parts" The math doesnt seem to add up to me, but that was from Roger Wong's gamespot guide. the sooner the aliens get better weapons and equipment. Aliens come in levels 1-8 in their equipment sets, and this changes as your score grows. The following stats from J'ordos' Apoc'd editor. Novice Easy Medium Hard Superhuman 2 1000 1000 1000 1000 1000 3 2200 2200 2200 2200 2200 4 4000 4000 4000 4000 4000 5 7000 6900 6800 6700 6600 6 12000 11500 11000 10500 10000 7 22000 21000 20000 19000 18000 8 42000 39000 36000 33000 28000 UFO's have a few cutpoints on your score as well.
