I love it. I wish there were more talented artists like yourself willing to try their hand at some fan art. Great stuff. :)

(Cheap plug, but check out StrategyCore's X-COM FanArt page for everything out there). ;)

Zombie: Empirical data's your only man, when formulating a research plan.
A soldier's death is never in vain if it makes the formula more plain.
A few dozen make a better case for refining that third decimal place.
They call me Zombie because I don't sleep, as I slowly struggle to climb this heap,
of corpses, data points, and trials, but from the top - I'll see for miles!

It's good, the arms seem a bit too thick and are are just a tad long, given that and how small the guy's arm is compared to the alien's and his hand grip you almost made him 8+ foot tall! That does make me wonder why he would hold a arm with two hands and place it squarely in front of him while squashing up his bulk. When in perhaps in a more triamphant display have him stand tall with his arm stretched out and letting what looks like a mixture of blood and guts slip through its fingers. His other arm holding the shirt of a human civillian who is either headless and in turn allow his chest and bulk to be streatched and can see the full strength of his muscles.
