Most tasks can now be found in the Xenocide Task Tracker, please make frequent use of it! This way it is more easy for everyone to keep track of unassigned tasks and the progress of the assigned ones.

If you would like to work on a task that is not yet in the task tracker (IE: BUGS, Bug genie, Bugtracker) please write me a short PM, and I will take care of it!

Any chance you can prefix their titles with CTD or similar, so they're easy to recognise?

Well, I could've, but why? They are in their own section. That's why I left it out in the first place. It's the same with the Art and Programming tasks.

OK, I'll display my ignorance, how do you get BUGS to just show the CTD entries?

You don't. But why would you need a feature like this? If you start BUGS with it's starting page there are all tasks displayed. Nicely in categories. First "Installer" wich is empty, then "Tools" wich has one task called "frontend for converter". Then there comes the category "updater".... etc etc... But I guess you know all that and your problem is this sentence "Recently filed or updated bugs for "Xenocide - New Issues Here"", right? Well, at least for CTD these are all tasks available right now. Those with the lower numbers have been killed, finished or are used by the oher dept.

Edit: I wasn't quite right with my first answer. You can show just CTD entries on the starting page, if you go to " My account" and then to "My frontpage" :)

Just to make this clear:

Waiting for Assignee: Go for it! Pick it, confirm it, write a draft!
Confirmed:            Task is assigned and confirmed by the assignee
In Progress:          First draft has been posted, work is in progress
Partially fixed:      Not much left to do. Usually around 80%
Fixed:                Task finished, CT is in "Completed: Creative Text"
Postponed:            Task can not be finished right now but stays assigned

Every writer himself is responsible for keeping his tasks up to date. This includes, but is not limited to (e.g, you can fill in hours estimated) status and percent completed.

Thanks everyone :)

dteviot, I think I have to apologize to you! The frontpage does not show all filed tasks. It only shows the 20 most recent ones. I'll try to find a solution for that. For now, the CT tasks are the only ones pretitled with "Active:" or "Proofread", so this should help you distiguish between PRG and CTD tasks. Sorry again.
