Selmak
I may have simply not tracked one of the USOs involved in the construction of a base, but right now I've just wrapped up a successful attack on a landed supply ship, and have the opportunity to take on a second one landing in more or less the same spot. My question is, if I only manage to wipe out the second of these supply ships and don't detect anything else, is that good enough to prevent the construction of a new colony? j'ordos
IIRC, it's the battleships that construct new bases.
jman4117
I'm pretty sure that once a UFO lands, it's mission is accomplished and it only stays around for you have time to intercept it. I've partoled over a landed Battleship in UFO before and would get a base immediatly on arrival, so the same "should" hold true for TftD Dreadnaughts. [Blehm 98]
Yeah, if you see a battleship land for a long period of time, or you see it and several small ships scouting an area, they want to build a base. Supply ships are just the games way of giving you extra resources
