Hi!!

 

First of all, my apologies to Raven Squad for the immense retard of the movie score. Anyway, it's done now. It would only need to be a little longer, so the music can fade out on the projectxenocide logo. Besides that, the clip still needs some sound effects on the X-Corps logo and the viper itself. Comments are always welcome! :wink:

Can we expect more later on, perhaps an small squad of snakemen? Also, if we're looking for demo videos i'd really like to see a short concept to creation video, which cuts from the concept drawings to obiting around the models that have been created.

 

Well done on this one! :D

Amazing work with the soundtrack indeed! Great composition. If you want the movie to be longer, just pm me the details and I'll modify the file a bit. It's a shame that the idea about concept images didn't come up earlier, but I might be able to squeeze one or two images in between those transitions without adding extra length to the movie (which would throw the music off sync).

Ok, back, well I haven't got internet at my place. That's why it's kinda hard for me to get all the info and data gathered without burning cd's like heck :wacko: :P

 

ok, fidel, I would make the movie exactly the same except the fact that the projectxenocide logo at the end would have to stay until 1:03 minutes, so a couple of seconds more. I'll try to make it as loopable as possible so there won't be any transition in the track ;)

 

if there won't be anyone adding effects, I'll try it myself :wink: BUT! I still think we should use the sounds that are going to be used in the game itself. Any propositions?

Excelent work Atex on that soundtrack... Looking forward to hear that Viper's scream...

 

Just one suggestion to Fidel, what do you think about changin the laser type of shoot to a more blueish, with particles losening. Right now the shoot looks like a laser (realized yesterday)

I tried to do some after editing to the clip and changed the laser to something more blueish. The result looks pretty depressing though. The weapon effects you can see in the original weren't given much effort as you might see, and to come up with some good ones might take a day or two since I have little experience with particle systems. But if we could use those effects in the game it might be reasonable.

 

I'm uploading them both to the project ftp (outdoor models folder), for some reason I got a "you cannot upload this file type" error when trying to upload it here.

Looks damn good! Maybe some slithering snake sounds needed? And the voice when it "walks"..

the only thing right now whats missing are the fx-thingies atex added.

 

maybe he is so cute to put them on that theme back :wave:
