Cannot Engange, Cannot Return To Base

The idea is that as your craft gets damage, Max Speed and fuel goes down. So even an Avenger can get so damaged that it can't keep up with a battleship. Also, weapon pods could be damaged or simply get destroyed from a hit. With missiles or the fusion balls exploding, problems arise pretty fast, even with CASE* ammunition. This can happen with alien craft, as well...

Also, this spawns a new idea: What if a craft gets so damaged that it can't return to base? Like a major fuel tank is damaged, and it'll run out of fuel. You'd either have to pay alot of money to send in an aircraft carrier or reserve a landing strip, then Fed-Ex the pieces back for repairs. Or, you could drop it in the ocean, rescue the pilot/crew cheaply, and have to buy/construct a new craft. If advanced weather coding is added, a few agents could even drown in a storm... :blink: until flying suits, that is. ^_^

*CASE: I've seen the name in Mechwarrior, so it might be called something different. The ammo is laid out in such a way that if it explodes, it does as little damage as possible.

CASE in mw stands for Celluar Ammunition Storage Expansion (or something like that.)

Modern M1 tanks use a similar system so that if ammo explodes, it explodes outwards so it doesn't kill the people inside.
