Hiya folks,

I am writing a set of tools that read the old XCOM graphics files, and although I have a website reference with file format descriptions for almost everything, the one thing nobody seems to mention of the palette used. :)

Are there different palettes for different images? Seperate palettes for the Geoscape and Battlescape? Is there a seperate file that stores the palettes?

Anyway, my real question goes like so:

1) Is there a description of the colormaps in the files somewhere?
2) Would it be possible for someone to provide me (perhaps as a Photosop file) with the colormap(s) used in XCOM?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this post, have a fantastic day!

probably you should ask all these questions to Daishiva (http://www.xcomufo.c...hp?showuser=896 | http://www.daishiva.com/phpbb/index.php) as he has studied x-com data files a lot and has implemented all pallettes in his editors
