The screen turns black, and the computer freezes after the intromovie. And in XC1 it freezes before that. And worst of all, the game (XC3) tells me that i need the CD. They fix a few video bugs in the collector's editions of the games that they have with all versions of windows on some peoples' machince. To whoever in charge of uploading new working copy, would you also create/upload additional ZIP file contains only those missing files? I guess many people don't want to download that 56mb again, just want to download those missing files. (* The game crashed, so i tried to defeat all alien crafts in their dimension and it couldn't fix the problem, just wasting time. *) Anyway, Marsec & Transtellar has gone to alien side with no a percent of alien infiltration! Brute Posted January 6, 2003 Report Share Posted January 6, 2003 i uploaded the x-com3 apocalypse -working full version- today. i think it will solve your problem. i had problems uploading the zip archive. i winace'd it and made it 5 files totally 42 mbs!!! The game runs fine on Win ME (I disabled the sounds) until I try to go on my first mission (a random building in the city). After I select Turn Based, there is a screen with the soldiers.... but they're not my soldiers! I see some other ranks than rookies, some of them are droids or robots (I dunno as I haven't played the game before) and they are also equipped with weird weapons.After I select the squads and all the game crashes, dos4gw error.
