Xcom Ufo:legacy Help!

You know, I have downloaded and installed the UFO:Legacy on my PalmPilot. It's an awsome game, but the only problem is that I can't seem to find anywhere to actually purchase the key for this game! I want to, I would pay for it, but it's just rather frustrating that the places I have gone to get it, they are just selling me the game, but no key! When asked, they reimburse me for it since they can't seem to get in contact with the author of this game either. It's rather frustrating because I really like this game and can't continue on until I get the key! If anyone knows about this or can assist me, please do! It's much appreciated! Thanks!

I looked into this a while back, but the authors seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth. The original Russian site is gone too and is now one of those junk placeholder sites. You could try emailing the old email account ([email protected]) to see if you get a response, but I doubt that as well. Sorry, looks like we are out of luck for now. :(

  • 2 months later...

I've spent the last couple months looking into this very issue also. I've made several attempts at contacting the author, Roman Negrey, at both his personal email and the ufo:legacy email. The game's email was sent back as undeliverable... I'm still waiting for a response from the other one. I've been on dozens of messageboards and have been in contact with several people from those boards trying to obtain at least a working keygen. While I've received several responses, nothing has been resolved. A rumored keygen was floating out there for some time but I've learned it doesn't work. I'm hoping to hear from the author but it's probably going to be a dead end. He also developed a palm application for the card game Magic The Gathering around the same time as UFO: Legacy which is also shareware but according to the Russian messageboard, they were both developed some time ago. Perhaps Roman has moved on to bigger and better things as it seems he no longer seems to be developing software. If anyone has any other leads, please let me know. I'm hopelessly addicted to the game. My character is at level 19 and I've long since finished all the quests and now require the code to advance further.
