Guest Torgo Posted October 4, 2002 Report Share Posted October 4, 2002 I'm running XCom Apocalypse under Win98 SE....everything works fine until I go to do a mission.....after my guys have landed at the site where the aliens have invaded, the screen goes black and the computer freezes after I click on the building.Any ideas? Beyond that, it could be any combination of things: sound card, video card, who knows. Apoc is way quirky. Guest Jeff Posted March 6, 2003 Report Share Posted March 6, 2003 I've got the same problem Windows 98. I had the SVGA problem, ran the patch, game worked fine until the first combat mission. Games kicks me out to desktop. I tried installing the game using no sound, that did not help, still kick to desktop Anyone got a fix for this?
