Slaughter
Mike Nino interviewed ALTAR Interactive and Cenega Publishing about UFO: Aftershock at E3, and the result is finally here. The questions range from nighttime missions to "Grand Tetons", and you can find the interview here. If you haven't read much about the game before, you may also want to check out previous interviews. Q: Do nighttime missions differ significantly from their daytime counterparts in terms of the game play experience? Are changes limited to reduced visibility? A: They will be darker, thus the need for the new infrared and night vision views.
Tsereve
But would the Cloak be too occupied with the Morlocks to mind-control your soldiers? If so, then you'd have to deal with Psi after all the Mutons are gone? I'm not looking forward to that. . .what rank would the Etherial be? Maybe a new rank, a Controller or an Overlord? And these alien ranks would mean said unit wouldn't be able to use equipment, so you'd only have to deal with Psi?
Slaughter
This game isn't a sequel to the X-COM games. It is surely inspired by them, but there are no Mutons. There are four types of "humans": Psionics, Cyborgs, Cultists and normal humans. There are also various aliens, where some of them probably have psionic/mind-control capabilities, but I really do not know the details surrounding that. You can find screenshots, concepts, artworks and a trailer in the Aftershock section of StrategyCore.
