Could some one make me a special file for x-com? I want to make the origianal with a complete overhaul for the bases. Could someone make me a .lua file for all basses that makes them 4 tall instead of 2 in the origianal game? (I want this to run in the origianal game and I just need them to be 4 tall no Graphics necessary as I can do that.)

Thanks! (yah yah it is in the wrong place :P :D more people check here though...)

That is not realy in the LUA files but in the .map files.
So you just want to change all the maps to have 4 levels?
Like add 2 levels of nothing?

Thats not so hard.
mmhh might as well write a little script that does that. Lets see if I can write .map files too. ^_^

I don't think X-Com uses lua files.

True it does not, but the file format of the .map files seems to be the same.

OK, this is a little python script.
If you do not have python get it. :P
Make a backup of all the files you can damage with it, I will not replace any.
Run it like this:
In Windows:
python extendmap.py *.map
or in Linux:
./extendmap.py *.map
It should take a path as argument too.
Attached File  extendmap.rar   512bytes   137 downloads

Hate to break it to you, but XCOM has the amount of levels in it hardcoded. Even if it was in the .map, it would either be ignored (or end up all gobly-gook)
