Screen Problems

Well, Im using the Good computer right now.

The Laptop just died due to its crappyness, even though its awesome because it can run X-Com without this problem

 

Basically what happens is, When Im in the Tactical map, or Cityscape it doesnt show the full screen

At the start menu for some reason though it seems to work fine, Fits right to the screen.

The Option menu doesnt snap to the screen either. Ive tried all the options I can think of, Dont be afraid to suggest some v.v'

 

Is there a way to possibly make the screen smaller so I could actually use my research features on this thing? :x

It runs naturally a fraction of the size of my Laptop screen, but on the desktop it wants to be Gianormous.
