Game Doesnt Start Using Dosbox, Help

I have been running TFTD (Dos version) on my XP system in dos mode and it works fine until I have to go on a terror mission. The first time there is hidden movement the game crashes and gives me an error in XP.

 

I tired running the game in Dosbox but it will not start the game. The only thing I can do is install and run the setup. When I run terror it gives me an error saying...

 

Error illegal command sound/sndstart

Error illegal command ufoexe/black

 

Then a new screen flashes titled Program: Tatical

 

Error[35] Unexpected interrupt=000000 in dos4gw.exe

 

the next screen that flashes is titled Geoscape

 

Says the same stuff

 

they flash back and forth and wont run the game.

 

 

Any ideas?

I also have the DOS version and while my game gives a different error message, it always crashes during the hidden movement part of a terror mission as well. I can play underwater missions and they rarely crash.

I've gotten my game working in DOSbox now. I think you're problem is you forgot to "mount D D:\ -t cdrom" before you run the game.
