Here's a mod I made with Apoc'd, Apatcher, roadkill and a nice Hex-Editor. It is a personal testbed-mod and changes the game quite a bit, my initial idea was to remove things that annoyed or bothered me (like capturing alive Aliens) but turned out into a complete overhaul with almost every single weapon/unit/vehicle changed and/or replaced. I changed names, pics, stats, orders, diplomacy everything. It is exactly fitted to my personal taste, so there might be things that you don't like. If that's the case simply don't use the mod and maybe use it as a source of ideas only. I will not change anything and/or update this mod, it's a take-it or leave-it thing.

 

Readme is in the zip. Backup your APOCA folder before installing, just in case

I made this mod some time ago, but apparently never posted a readme :suck: here it is: This mod is for real-time only. It will NOT work correctly in Turn-based. Several editors were used, among them Hex-editors as better tools were missing. This explains why several exe files are included in the mod. Roads are much tougher now, allowing heavy Road-vehicles to serve a purpose. City tube connections also are harder to destroy. Replaced and Revamped the WHOLE equipment, be it tactical or vehicle equipment. This is a new game, forget what you know from Xcom 3. Added vehicles, added more equipment, added more variety in tac missions, you will now see places that you have never seen before. Changed loot list. Changed icons, sizes, uniforms, vehicle weapons, infantry weapons, vehicles everything. READ the new ufopedia entries, almost everything is different now. Aliens use some new weapons. Toxi-weapons nerfed (e.g. don't skip shields) but are available easier. added shield destabilizers, power-packs and other stuff psi-clones give a small boost in carrying. Aliens (stats/abilities) slightly changed. The mod includes all my smaller item/uniform mods. Heavy Road Vehicles are usable now as airdefenses as the destroyed roads no longer kill them as easily. I can not stress one point too much, though: This is a complete overhaul. Play it like a new game. Old tactics no longer work (especially in air-combat) hf
