Can i replace S3 with this SiS one? If i do will it effect my graphics or my game (Return to the castle wolfenstein)? Simply what i wanna say is which one's? better? Guest Jim69
I don't know, I doubt it will effect ur performance. It will be easy 2 change, insert the new 3D card into brown AGP slot ( There will be many slots 4 cards, but 1 will look different and be further away from the side of comp ). Insert it there and move the moniter 2 the new card. Start ur comp and update the driver ( either from net or from CD if given 1 ). Then u r away. Aosar
You may have to manually disengage your integraded card from BIOS. And IIRC you can set the cars's so that they work side by side, but I really can't tell for sure, haven't got a integraded graph card so... Guest Jim69
I couldn't, and the standard is that it automatically detects it. I doubt if it won't autodetect it u haven't messed with the settings, which I doubt if u haven't installed another 3D card yet u prob don't mess around in BIOS. I've built computers b4 and I don't even mess with BIOS
