Hello !

 

I have made a first version of the interceptor battle track. I'm not fully happy with this one. I'll make some others trials soon...

 

You can have it here.

 

What do you think about it ?

I never had access to SVN, don't know why....

ATex explained me, we tried, but it was never ok. :(

Oh damned !!! I've understood !

 

In the website Megaupload, the "download button" is on the right top of the page. But to download the file, you must write the code on the left of the button in the box first....

 

And then it works... B)

I received access to SVN =b . I'll try later to upload the file in the assets directory.

But if you have time to download it from megaupload and make remarks on the music....do not hesitate ! ;)

No, you're not. Sorry for that. Just were some busy months, so this skipped my attention. Downloading it right now. Could you please stop using megaupload? it requires IE, and that's a major pain in the donkey. Why don't you just email me with new versions. Just send them to my projectxenocide mail and I'll upload them to the SVN.

 

Edit: Listening now...

A little bit too much bass for my liking, especially in the beginning. It kills my speakers... :) But I like it very much. remembers me of TFX... Anyone remembers this game...? :D

 

Edit: Or is this unclean/disturbed sound in th ebeginning not an artefact by my speakers? If not, you should remove/clean it... (I'm speaking about 00:03 to 00:13)

Edit: I can very well imagine the interceptor entering the screen, passing the camera and proceeding to the target when I hear the music, but for the fight it needs a bit more anger and exploding tensions.

Ok, I'll send you the next versions of the track for you to download it into SVN. I find curious the fact that I'm still getting "unauthorized access" message from SVN when I try to commit the latest things...

 

Thanks for your comments on the track. I will "lighten" the saturated aspect of the sound at the beginning for more clearness. And also, what I understood is that at the beginning that's fine, you can imagine the interceptor entering the scene, but then you would see something more "hard", with more "tensions"

 

I try not to have too huge differences of "energy" between the beginning of the track and its end, because this track must be loopable.
