Ok this is the wierd problem i've seen yet. I have Windows Xp Home to start with I installed the game not 10 minutes ago. Heres the kicker i have both sound and music in in flight battle missions and I have sound in campaign map but no music in campaign map I could've swore there was music in map screen and thats why I'm posting otherwise so far the game is running great I have v1.0 will upgrading fix this? Also whats this I hear of a probe lock bug?

maybe you have a corrupted sound file...? but as I can remember there wasn't music 
but I can be wrong - it was long ago I played interceptor.
And about probe bug: as far as I know the only solution is to install win98. In XP there is no probe in the battlespace, or you can't finish probe mission...
