Can't believe I hadn't read this before, check out this great interview to David Ellis by Cyke, from The Last Outpost

Read it here! Lots of details about UFO, Apocalypse, Interceptor and Genesis I didn't know, very interesting interview :)

You can say that again. I've had those interviews bookmarked on my browser for almost a year and I never get sick of reading them. :D

Yep, read that as well, great stuff. Its why I started my Chyrssalid thread. I love where he was going to go with them for Genesis :)

That's actually an awesome idea, and would solve one of the problems so many veterans whine about, once they get enough MC, they don't find challenge.

That was what I took from it too. I think the first games just needed enemy units more immune to MC. In this case, I think the potential was there to have that but also create a slightly bigger MC threat to the player.

From a gaming point of view, I guess. But from a story point of view, if chrysalids are gonna behave like this they wouldnt only be sent on missions with flying aliens.

Oh wow. We were gonna get all THAT in Genesis?!?! What a damn shame they cancelled it.
