That's very nice, indeed.I know it's not exactly fan "art", but I just spent ages putting together this map of the default X-COM base and wanted to show it to someone

Ummm, no, not really. It took me too long to make just that ground floor - I can't be bothered making the top floor as wellIs there any way to see where those stairs lead?

I guess I could, but I don't want to start a "Can you make my base too?" thread.Ooo ooo ooo could you do the same with my "core" base!
Send me a screenshot of your base and I'll see what I can do.

Then, anyone with an image editing program that knows how to exclude the transparency colour, can then fit the modules together into... well, whatever they want.
A build-your-own-base-kit-set, if you will. Fun for all ages!

Oh, just ignore me. I'm a lunatic.

You have to save each facility as its own specific image simply because you have to remove certain walls within the mapviewer before exporting, based on what it is connected to.
For instance, one Access Lift might have a walkway through the North, East, and South walls, while another might only have it through the East. The game does this automatically, but I have to do it manually

Do you know my email address? Just send me a screenshot of your base and I can do it over my "weekend" on Wednesday and Thursday
I'm just teasing. But if you are curious check out the "blueprint" in this thread: 2 Hangars, the lift, 1 missile defense, 2 general stores, 1 quarters, 1 large radar
