SupSuper Posted May 27, 2004 Report Share Posted May 27, 2004 just use Cool Edit 2000 (i believe its now Adobe Audition) or Soundforge to open the CAT files inside xcom's SOUND folder, they contain the sound effects. Dos Version:Sample Rate - 8000; Channels - Mono; Resolution - 8-bit.SOUND1.CAT - Battlescape SoundsSOUND2.CAT - Geoscape Sounds Collector's Edition (or Dos Version 1.4):Sample Rate - 11025; Channels - Mono; Resolution - 8-bit.SAMPLE.CAT - Geoscape SoundsSAMPLE2.CAT - Battlescape SoundsSAMPLE3.CAT - Intro Sounds (unused on CE) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
