Ive beaten the game on my old comp and am going to recreate my old game on the new comp.
Ive downloaded the ClarkWehyr Ent. X-COM Editor, unzipped it, and installed it to the computer but when i go to run the XCOMEDIT.EXE all that happens is a blank window opens then immediately closes. any help at all would be appreciated.
Thank you

[Files]
UFO_Path=\MPS\UFO ; Home directory of X-COM:UFO
TFTD_Path=\MPS\TFTD ; Home directory of X-COM:TFTD
Change the game paths to match where you have your copy of the games. Due to the fact that the clarkweyr editor is dos-base, you may need to change the way the directory looks in the path. For example, if you're using the collector's edition of UFO Defense and you installed the game to the default folder, you'll enter the following for the UFO_Path:
\progra~1\microp~1\x-comc~1\ufodef~1
Hope this helps.

Now here is my dilemma - I started a game, saved, closed, opened the editor, made some changes.
I go and start the game up, play a bit, save, and close again. The NEXT time I open it, the edits are all gone and I am back to January 1 again.
Any ideas?
Thanks -
Chad
