Landmarks And New Mission Type

Just as an idea, what does everyone think of having some missions take place in well known places (The White House, Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal, Central Park, Area 51).

 

Also if aliens did land at these places there could be the option for a new mission Type "Annihilation" where the aliens intent is to kill everyone. Missions could then be failed if X-Corps allow a certain percentage of the civilian population to die.

 

Failure in these missions could mean;

 

Loss of Government "HQ" (The White House): drastic change in Funding from country (US)

 

Loss of Landmark (Eiffel Tower): Lowering of Morale for all X-corp employees from Country (France)

 

Loss of Research Place (Area 51, CERN): Either research slowed or Available scientists to hire lowered.
