G'day,

I just tried running your geoscape replacement alpha thing and it ran fine so I decided that I should give you my specs in case you wanted to know what hardware.

Pentium 3 - 800mhz
64MB Geforce 2 MX 400 DDR
512MB RAM PC133
VIA CHIPSET
Windows XP Pro

And for the alien ships crashing in water and having water missions, I'd like to say, doesn't Elerium detonate when it's combined with water and that's why the alien ships didn't survive?

I think official line on Elerium and water is that it becomes inert, so it can't be used for power after that. It's mentioned in the manuals somewhere, I think in a separate booklet that came with Interceptor (so you may wish to disregard it as being un-X-COM).

I recall it also mentioning that various corporations mounted salvage operations to recover the UFOs in the hope of getting Elerium, unfortunately I can't find the booklet at the moment, but X-COM Tactical Command has a pretty much direct copy of the info under the Timeline heading I think.
